Boundless Transparency in Glass
Walls of glass that open completely and merge interior and exterior spaces into a seamless whole have always embodied the core ideal of modern architecture. Today, technically advanced window systems make these light-filled spatial concepts possible – without any compromise on energy efficiency or comfort. With the cero large-scale sliding window, spatial boundaries have already been dissolvable for many years.
The new stage of development of Solarlux’s cero sliding window continues this design approach with absolute consistency: the “cero III frameless” system variant sets new standards in terms of transparency. The newly reduced sash profiles of cero frameless can be fully recessed into the frame profile at the top and bottom, which in turn is integrated into the building structure. For fixed elements, the lateral sash profiles can also be flush-mounted within the wall. The frameless variant therefore allows the highest possible proportion of visible glass. Only the necessary vertical handle profiles on the sliding panel remain visible, with a slender profile width of just 34 mm.
This brings the essential element to the forefront – movable glass in its purest form.
Quick check
+ 0 mm visible wing profile
+ Sliding element 5 × 6.5 m (w × h), maximum sash size 15 m²
+ Double locking points in the frame allow ventilation in the tilted/ajar position
+ Integrated fall protection possible
+ Automatic cleaning of the running tracks
+ Minimal effort required to move the sliding panels
