Berlin embraces Transformation: ARCHITECT@WORK celebrates its 8th edition

With its eighth edition, ARCHITECT@WORK Berlin once again transformed Station Berlin into a vibrant meeting place for architects, specifiers, manufacturers and industry professionals on 7 and 8 October. The positive atmosphere throughout the event once again demonstrated the importance of personal encounters and meaningful dialogue within the architecture community.

A key milestone in the continued development of ARCHITECT@WORK Berlin was the new partnership with AIV zu Berlin-Brandenburg and revalu, alongside the expanded collaboration with the DGNB. These strong partnerships further reinforce ARCHITECT@WORK Berlin’s position as a leading platform for innovation, sustainability and knowledge exchange. In addition to a wide range of innovative product presentations, inspiring talks and curated exhibitions provided valuable insights into this year’s central theme, Transformation.

The successful 2026 edition clearly demonstrated that ARCHITECT@WORK Berlin remains an essential meeting point for the architecture and design community.

Theme: TRANSFORMATION

Preserving existing buildings and converting them for a new use is one of the most important architectural tasks in times of climate crisis and dwindling resources. However, continuing to build on existing buildings is not only ecologically sensible; architects can also help to preserve and strengthen cultural identity with renovations and conversions.

The topic of transformation moves architects, interior designers and lighting designers as well as the construction industry.
