MATERIALS CURATION Future Materials Lab by Iva Bastlová
The exhibition focuses on presenting sustainable materials made from natural or recycled or upcycled sources from all around the world. The aim is to inspire architects, designers, but also manufacturers and processors to take a new look at creation and show where the field of architecture and design can move in the near and more distant future. The exhibition opens up questions of responsible use of resources, circular economy and reducing the environmental footprint.

“La Città Immaginaria” is a temporary, traveling installation designed to bring people together and evoke emotions in cultural spaces. It represents an imaginary skyline of a city with monumental shapes, made up of tens of thousands of Kapla wooden blocks, placed one on top of the other without the use of glue or joints, laid carefully one by one by the artist’s patient hands.

Ekspozycja obejmuje 40 prac członków platformy z całego świata, koncentrując się na lekkich konstrukcjach i zasadach prostoty w budownictwie. Dodatkowo wywiady poświęcone budownictwu cyrkularnemu wzbogacają i uzupełniają prezentowane treści.
