MATERIALS CURATION Future Materials Lab by Iva Bastlová
The exhibition focuses on presenting sustainable materials made from natural or recycled or upcycled sources from all around the world. The aim is to inspire architects, designers, but also manufacturers and processors to take a new look at creation and show where the field of architecture and design can move in the near and more distant future. The exhibition opens up questions of responsible use of resources, circular economy and reducing the environmental footprint.

“La Città Immaginaria” is a temporary, traveling installation designed to bring people together and evoke emotions in cultural spaces. It represents an imaginary skyline of a city with monumental shapes, made up of tens of thousands of Kapla wooden blocks, placed one on top of the other without the use of glue or joints, laid carefully one by one by the artist’s patient hands.

Voor de vijfde keer presenteert World-Architects een gecureerde projecttentoonstelling tijdens ARCHITECT@WORK. De tentoonstelling belicht in totaal 40 werken van platformleden van over de hele wereld, met speciale nadruk op lichtgewicht bouwen en de principes van eenvoud in bouwen.
