EXHIBIT DRAWING MATTERS by COAM

Date de parution : 03.04.2026

DRAWING MATTERS

The Official Association of Architects of Madrid will be present at ARCHITECT@WORK with a space entitled DRAWING MATTERS, an exhibition that highlights the value of drawing as a tool for thinking and a link between academic training and professional practice. It also offers this year’s visitors a critical perspective on the role of architecture within the contemporary art ecosystem.
The curatorship of the exhibition design has been undertaken by architects Alejandro Caraballo and Carlos Rebolo, who have focused on promoting and showcasing emerging talent, highlighting the creative ability of young architects who have recently graduated from various universities in Madrid, such as ETSAM, the European University, the University of Alcalá de Henares and CEU San Pablo University.
At the same time, this exhibition highlights the expressiveness and graphic ambition of architectural drawing as a fundamental tool for the development of the profession, whilst exploring architectural drawing and imagery as a space of exchange between art and architecture: a territory shared between disciplinary technique and the experimentation characteristic of the academic sphere.
