LOW CARBON GLASS ORAÉ® is the first low carbon glass on the market and offers a carbon footprint of only 6.64 kg CO2 eq/m2 (for a 4 mm thick glass substrate) according to the verified EPD, produced with a combination of a high percentage of recycled glass (approx. 64% cullet) and renewable energy. It is Cradle to Cradle certified - V4.0 evaluates products based on five strict categories: Material health, product circularity, air and climate protection, water and soil stewardship and social fairness. The result is a 42% reduction in CO2 compared to our standard European product.
