HUARA

Design: Elemental Huara means star in the language of the indigenous people of the Atacama Desert – the place where the most stars can be seen. Heavenly bodies were man’s first light source, lighting up the day and ensuring the night was not entirely dark. The Huara light is a dark, moveable sphere split into triangular elements that can be intuitively controlled through touch or via the Artemide app and gradually become a homogenous light source. The lamp can be positioned as desired thanks to its separate transparent base. A mobile device can be charged from the light via its USB port.
