Winners of the 2025 Regional Wood Construction Award

Photographic exhibition organised by Fibois Nouvelle-Aquitaine and Fibois Landes de Gascogne

The Regional Wood Construction Award exhibition in Nouvelle-Aquitaine presents the winners of the 8 categories from the latest edition of the competition.

Created to raise awareness of those involved in timber construction in Nouvelle-Aquitaine and France, this competition promotes exemplary projects, particularly those that showcase local timber.

With 78 entries and 8 winners, the 2025 edition once again demonstrated the dynamism and creativity of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine sector.

Architect@Work Bordeaux will be an opportunity to inaugurate this exhibition and the videos of our eight winning projects in the presence of Catherine Duret, president of the 2025 jury, 2024 winner, architect, NODE Architecture (33).

Fibois Nouvelle-Aquitaine and Fibois Landes de Gascogne will also present a giant quiz on the regional forestry and timber industry at Architect@Work Bordeaux.

The Nouvelle-Aquitaine region has the largest forest area in France. This forest, which is an exceptional source of fresh air for the region's inhabitants, is also a major factor in economic development: 59,000 jobs are directly linked to the regional forestry industry.

Are you familiar with the regional forestry and wood industry? This tour consists of six stages representing our industry, from the forest to wood products. Each stage is marked by a totem pole displaying a statement. True or false? It's up to you to decide!

In order to highlight all wood and bio-based products, there will be a space dedicated to the Wood-Bio-based Pact, an initiative aimed at project owners to promote these industries of the future. It will feature presentations of our project owners and committed partners, a bio-based materials library, and more. Come and discover the challenges and objectives of this initiative.
