On designing well-being and well-being in design – how we do it at HAG

Image - edition 2024 Gdansk - Tomasz Bogusz, Zofia Zuchowicz, Anna Lewandowska - HAG.jpg

Tomasz Bogusz, Zofia Zuchowicz, Anna Lewandowska - HAG

We will talk about the guidelines we have developed for designing user-friendly spaces. We will show how these guidelines work in various scales, from interior design projects and small houses to large urban planning endeavors in distant parts of the world. In the second part of the meeting, we will focus more on ourselves. We will introduce the philosophy of teal management and discuss how it works in the field of architecture.

About HAG - human architecture group

HAG creates human-centered architecture, from Tanzania through Poland, the Scandinavian countries, and even the Faroe Islands. The well-being of those who inhabit the spaces they design is always their top priority. They believe that in order to care for the well-being of others, one must start with themselves. They strive to work differently, implementing the principles of teal management and experimenting with sociocratic practices. Additionally, they work only four days a week, leaving Fridays open for personal time, their loved ones, self-development, and rest.
