The depletion of natural resources, including sand and so many others, is prompting us to revisit our profession as designers, with a more attentive approach to what pre-exists before the project. The Tabula Rasa policy of the last century no longer meets the climate and environmental objectives we need to achieve, in order to limit the impact of our interventions on the planet.
