Is a moisture-variable vapor barrier film for realizing the airtight layer. The diffusion resistance of the functional membrane changes depending on the humidity present. During the winter months, the room air is generally drier. The sd value of the vapor barrier foil increases. Due to this process, only a small amount of water vapor can penetrate into the structure, resp. the insulation. In the summer, when there is sufficient solar radiation, the relative humidity is lower the foil higher due to the reversal diffusion. The water molecules precipitate in the membrane. The sd value drops and allows more water vapor to escape from the structure into the room, the building part becomes drier.
