Vandersanden launches brand-new and exclusive brick slips for the German market: ECO, Waterstruck & BDF With fresh and on-trend colours as a base, and exciting effects on the surface: ECO waterstruck brick slips from Vandersanden offer a sustainable building product and creative design material for discerning architects and project planners. Launching in Autumn 2021, Vandersanden will also offer these very special brick slips exclusively for the German market in BDF format. The new products and an exciting colour scheme, open up a wide range of unexpected design possibilities for facade design with brick slips. Waterstruck brick slips of this size were previously only available as cut products in a fairly limited range of colours. Now Vandersanden has combined ECO benefits, Waterstruck brick slips and BDF into a completely new and exciting product range. To ensure that brick production does not consume more material and energy than absolutely necessary, ECO brick slips are produced directly in special moulds in the desired size, rather than sawn from whole bricks like classic brick slips. This manufacturing process, unique to Vandersanden, conserves natural resources. The characteristic waterstruck structure is created by releasing it from the moulds by means of a water press. This makes each individual brick slip unmistakably unique. Vandersanden will offer the brick slips in light basic shades such as white/grey from Autumn 2021, successively expanding the range according to market demands.
