Chris Middleton, Kinzo Architekten

Forgotten spaces are transformed into vibrant places. Through a carefully curated mix of uses and a deep respect for their history, locations with a strong identity emerge - places that bring people together and connect the past with the future. Examples such as the transformation of a shopping arcade into a bicycle parking facility illustrate the appeal of giving existing spaces a new chapter rather than starting from scratch.
