Reflections: the professionalization of the interior designer profession

SAW, the Polish Association of Interior Designers is initiating, during A@W, a key discussion on how to systematically build prestige and competencies within the industry.

This will not be a theoretical debate, but a meeting of leaders who are actively shaping the framework of the profession. The panel will include:
• experts from the Sectoral Skills Council for Architecture and Urban Planning,
• members of the advisory team for the development of the National Architectural Policy - also representing the Board of the Association of Interior Designers,
• representatives of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.

We will talk about concrete issues: from changes in academic education, through new initiatives by public institutions, to international standards of practice.
