We see façades as projection surfaces for the interior of the building and as canvases for the ideas that we as architects have associated with them. During the experimental design phase, a whole pool of guiding ideas usually emerges, one of which will determine the project. Some exemplary themes were: Puzzle, module, reduction, transformation, archetype, authenticity. Using already realised projects and conceptual designs as examples, Nataliya Sukhova will give an insight into the design process of the Transstruktura group - she will take us on a journey from the creative central idea to its manifestation in the details of the façade design.
