SALTO Homelok is a cloud-based platform for access control in the residential industry. The solution provides a modern keyless world of living for residents. The system also creates more efficient processes for operators as well as owners, while improving security in any type of residential building.
SALTO Homelok is designed as a complete solution. It includes both powerful hardware and state-of-the-art software technology with web and mobile app. All access rights are stored on an RFID credential, digital keys can be flexibly sent to and received from smartphones. All doors and access points can also be (un)locked remotely.
The system design is aimed at effectively securing a wide variety of residential properties with all their areas, from the doors of the units to the building entrances to the access points for common areas.
Homelok's digital access technology completely replaces mechanical keys. Functions such as remote opening, flexible access scenarios, access management for employees, visitors and residents lead to generally more efficient property management. This includes lower operating costs, smooth maintenance and service calls, an optimal letting process as well as attracting and retaining residents.
Decentralised key management is an exclusive feature. Managers can allow residents/tenants to use their smartphone as a key and also use it to create their own access plan. This gives them full control over access to their unit. Admin rights allow them to invite family members or visitors into their respective area.
SALTO Homelok is certified to ISO 27001, the most widely used international standard for information security. The solution offers end-to-end security and data protection through highly encrypted data communication, mutual authentication of system components and the assignment of distinctive 'identities' to all devices integrated into the platform.
