Minimal is an interior roller blind solution designed by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec to offer the ‘best minimum’. Its minimalist, industrial look fits seamlessly into most spaces. "The core component is an innovative bracket crafted from a single piece of folded steel. When I designed Minimal, I completely stripped down the design. The beauty is in the few components that are in balance with each other. A system that explains itself to the user, it is strong and clear," says Erwan Bouroullec. Minimal not only minimises the use of materials; it is also durable and easy to assemble, install and use. The bracket is available in various colours and finishes, and in three sizes: S, M and L. Simple to disassemble, Minimal allows for the textile to be easily changed - without having to dismantle or dismount the complete system. Furthermore, its minimalist, industrial expression seamlessly fits most spaces. Due to the limited use of materials, the carbon footprint of this product is relatively low. Moreover, when the roller blind is fitted with a metallised textile, energy savings of up to 25% can be achieved on an annual basis. The metallised interior sun protection ensures that the interior remains cool in the summer and pleasantly warm in the winter. Thanks to the metallised layer, blinding sunlight is kept out, while you continue to enjoy the view and sufficient daylight.
