FOAMET® CDDESIGN

It is the opposites that not only attract each other, but also us. Tensions between contradictory qualities stimulate us, make us think, open us up to more intensive perception. This is how foamet® cdDesign works with us. foamet® cdDesign are open-cell metal foams. They have their origins in technology. There they heat gases and support chemical reactions. However, their first effect on the user is a different one - their completely unique aesthetics! They are visually fragile and mechanically strong. They work with light, allow it to pass through or form an optical wall. They are light structures made of heavy material. They are simply exciting! For this reason, hollomet® GmbH has added the foamet® cdDesign series to its foamet® product range. These are available in the form of sheets in two different cell sizes, a fine and a coarse version. Depending on which interaction with light is to be created, which effect is to be triggered on the observer. The contrasts with other materials or surfaces can be varied thanks to three different material variants. The shiny metallic structures have a technical and sophisticated look, while the black versions are subtle and elegant. The rusty surfaces have an organic character.
