CERA

The Cera collection is the result of a long creative process that began with the manipulation of a material as well-known as it is uncommon in the ceramic world: wax. Like alchemists, we treated the material and transformed its essence into an original, unique, and precious work. Everything happened within our laboratory: wax flakes were first cast and then cooled; the sudden thermal shock led to a series of fractures and cracks, resulting in solidifications at different times and in different ways, which originated uneven marks and shades. In this way, we obtained a fluid material, very balanced within the piece, with a soft and velvety visual characteristic, which was used as a starting point in the development of graphics. The peculiarity of the Cera collection is not only due to the creative process from which it derives: a special finish, called Cerasilk, has also been specifically designed, reminiscent of the texture of wax itself. The range consists of three original shades, which with their metaphorical names define a complete chromatic spectrum: Luce is a bright white, expressing sensations of purity; Fumo is a refined gray, enhancing the depth of the graphics; Incenso is a warm tone characterized by strong personality. There are also three formats: the 60x120 is accompanied by the 120×120, a contemporary size ideal for emphasizing the aesthetic qualities of the material; to these is added the new 6x24 format in the Wax decoration for covering. Luce, Fumo, and Incenso are also available in the advanced Matt-Pro finish, combining aesthetic performance and technological innovation.
