After many years of research, we have introduced into our range of bricks that are hydrophobised at the production stage. The special impregnation is not just applied on the surface, but reaches 5-20 mm deep into the brick on all 4 face sides. The top and bottom of the brick are the non-impregnated surfaces, so the brick can still be laid in the traditional way, using standard mortars. We have a water repellent installation in most factories producing handmade bricks, however not all colours are subjected to this process.
