BLACK EDITION

In 2017 Karcher Design was one of the first suppliers to launch modern door handles in its finish Cosmos Black. Not only our customers, but also renowned architects such as Saguez & Partners, Quadrilatère or Architecture Studio were convinced by our concentrated matt and deep black surface. The finish is applied electrostatically as a powder coating. This procedure does not require the use of solvents creating an eco-friendly high-quality product. KARCHER DESIGN door handles in Cosmos Black are scratch-proof as well as highly resistant to corrosion. Their powder coating has a unique and pleasant depth to it while the surface itself feels smooth and warm, not unlike that of a palm stone. Since 2018 the finish already won three different awards - the Red Dot Design Award in the category Materials and Surfaces category, the Callwey Award and the French MUUZ International Award. But Cosmos Black is not the only finish that is part of our so-called Black Edition. Inspired by the moons of Saturn, KARCHER DESIGN developed the shade Titan Grey. Titan Grey impresses with its matt surface and warm grey finish. When cold light falls on the door handle, the Titanium Grey colour reflects a soft light ambience. With its soft and metallic shimmer, the pleasant depth of colour blends into the overall aesthetic of a room. The warm highlights and intense coolness set harmonious accents.
