Pergo is proud to announce its latest innovation: super performant rigid LVT. Thanks to a unique combination of flexible and firm core layers, UNILIN’s rigid vinyl planks offer optimized acoustics and protection against indentation, while also doing away with ‘telegraphing’. The new, standard-defining, rigid LVT perfectly complements UNILIN’s existing range of flexible vinyl planks. Now, there is an ideal solution available for any type of subfloor (flat, slightly irregular, or irregular) or installation (floating or glued).
Just like its flexible sibling, Pergo's rigid LVT gives you all the practical benefits of a synthetic product: a watertight floor that feels soft and warm underneath your feet. Thanks to cutting-edge HD-printing techniques also applied in flexible LVT, the design of Pergo's rigid vinyl differentiates itself from competition by being almost indiscernible from real wood. Apart from that, the vinyl flooring planks are equipped with a state-of-the-art click-in system for easy installation. And because it’s an excellent heat conductor, vinyl is also perfectly suited for installation over an underfloor heating or cooling system.
One of the biggest advantages offered by Pergo's LVT line is its unique top coating. This coating makes the floors not only easy to clean and gives them a natural look, it also has a beneficial effect on indoor air quality. Pergo's unique formula is based on the Five S Principle:
•Stains: if you draw a line using a felt-tip marker on a conventional vinyl floor and leave it for five minutes, it will be extremely difficult to remove, even with an acetone-based cleaning agent. Pergo LVT has a protective top coating that prevents stains and marks like no other.
•Shine: an innovative finish gives Pergo LVT a consistent, matte and natural-looking shine across multiple production batches. This stands in clear contrast to many of the other vinyl floors on the market that are unable to cast off their ‘plastic’ look and battle with inconsistencies in shine between different batches.
•Scuff marks: rubber soles or chair and table legs can leave nasty black marks on a floor. These marks are particularly difficult to remove and can even damage your top coating. Thanks to Pergo LVT’s sealed top coating, even the most persistent marks don’t stand a chance.
•Scratch-resistance: tiny “micro-scratches” can quickly make vinyl floors lose their lustre. Pergo LVT’s strong, durable top coating is an ideal alternative for intensively used and retains its original glossy appearance even with the passage of time.
•Scent: Pergo does not use formaldehyde in the production of its LVT. Even more, the perfectly sealed surface keeps the emission of volatile organic substances to an absolute minimum, resulting in a scent-free and healthier product.
