A@W Nantes 2022
This specific and unique glazed steel guardrail was designed in February 2021, as a result of efficient collaboration between GH's design office and SCHOTT's experts. It was designed to measure and in real life for the Exelmans site in Paris. This technical solution meets all the conditions of the so-called "C+D" rule: limiting the risk of a fire spreading from one level to another. It has been applicable since the Order of 7 December 2020 amending the Order of 31 January 1986. Two aesthetic solutions have been designed for new buildings and renovations: a facade guardrail and a balcony guardrail. Architects can easily integrate it into the design of a project.
