ARCHITECT@WORK Amsterdam 2025: An Inspiring Edition at De Kromhouthal
On Thursday 30 and Friday 31 October 2025, ARCHITECT@WORK took place in Amsterdam. With over 1,736 visitors, this first edition at the Kromhouthal was well attended. 2025 THEME: Thoughtful Tomorrow
As a theme, "Thoughtful Tomorrow" encourages reflection on how many proposed innovations - along with social, cultural, and ecological considerations - can help create a future where architecture is smarter, more resilient, and more responsive. It’s about thoughtfully integrating technology and deeply understanding the needs of our planet, creating a future where the built environment truly improves lives.
Thoughtful construction explores the future of architecture in numerous ways. It recognizes a wide range of emerging trends and advanced developments that are transforming the industry. This includes the use of AI in architecture, flexible design, the implementation of new technologies and robotics in construction, smart materials, adaptive reuse (or not), and the relationship between people and cities, among other aspects.
