Introduction to raw earth construction techniques

Experiment and make samples of raw earth materials, discovering techniques suited to different soil characteristics and how to use them.

Discovering granular materials and building soils

Discover and experiment with the behaviour of granular materials to understand the components of soil and their properties, which form the basis of raw earth construction techniques.

Information about the Collectif francilien de la terre crue

The Collectif francilien de la terre crue is a non-profit association that promotes the use of raw earth as a building material in the Île-de-France region; works to structure the sector; and contributes to the transmission of know-how and building cultures using raw earth. It participates in the industry at the national level as a member of the Confédération Terre Crue and the Projet National Terre. Since its creation in 2021, the Collective has organised numerous events such as study days, exhibitions, conferences, feedback sessions, and publications, in order to collectively develop the industry with all players in the geo- and bio-based construction sector.
