Public space is more popular than ever, providing free opportunities to meet with friends and family. However, the standard square or piazza is no longer enough of a draw on its own and people get excited about the possibilities brought about by good design to enliven a place, creating character and a focus for activity. Not only that but we get the opportunity to reconsider what we want cities to look like, with a greater emphasis on greenery, accessibility and neurodiversity.
