NATURAL COLOUR SYSTEM NCS

The Natural Colour System (NCS) is the only colour system to describe colours in the same way as they are perceived by the human eye. It simplifies design and analysis processes while facilitating colour communication. This explains why, today, the cross-industry colour system is used worldwide by countless architects, painters, designers, paint producers, product manufacturers, institutional clients and training staff in schools or companies. For the first time in around 20 years, the NCS system has now been expanded to include 100 new standard colours in the low-chromatic colour area. As a result, a transparent communication basis is now also available for a range of nuances that are particularly important in architectural, interior and product design.
