LIGHT ME TENDER

Patrick Jouin is a designer and an interior architect. The understanding of space and the change of scale are at the heart of his work. A graduate ofGraduated from the ENSCI, he has collaborated with Philippe Starck. Pragmatic, he constantly questions the use, production and materials in each of his projects and drawings. "Light is essential, painting and drawing represent what is revealed by light, what we perceive thanks to it. Hard on the outside, and soft on the inside. LIGHT ME TENDER allows you to modulate vary the light and the material. We wanted to work on the bathroom space, specific to the time of morning or evening. An elegant light for an object that plays with intimacy. Inspired by the shades of dawn or dusk, LIGHT ME TENDER is a soft light that reveals us in the mirror. To be tender is to be enlightened. To accept oneself is to modulatevary the light. The design is very simple, like a single cloud standing out against a blue sky. Initially designed for the bathroom, LIGHT ME TENDER can also be used in a hallway or entrance. “The softness of dawn and the purity of dusk.”
