Seen in a new light

Modern working environments can only function properly if the surroundings are inviting and inspiring. Universal lighting that contributes to this positive feeling plays a significant role in this.
Simple yet individual, safe yet future-proof: these are the standards that TRILUX has set itself for its lighting solutions. Because flexibility, modularity and compatibility are more in demand than ever, especially in the field of New Work. For this reason, technology must not stand in its own way. The German lighting specialist combines individual components to create tailor-made complete solutions that are ideally suited to customer needs and the area of application.

Designed as a rhythmically structured grid, Yonos becomes a graphic stylistic device.
One such complete solution is Yonos, a system that not only illuminates workstations but can also zone rooms and highlight areas. As a kind of modular system, it can be used to implement both classic functional and creative office lighting concepts. The system can be planned as a single luminaire, a light strip, or a grid structure. Similar to a power rail system, the individual luminaires are combined with C, L, T, or X connectors in a grid structure. With nine high-quality optics in three widths, Yonos also meets all lighting requirements in the office – from classic computer workstations to linear lighting for corridors and atmospheric accent lighting in lounge areas. There is also a wide selection of luminaire and function modules as well as numerous inserts, for example for sensors, light management, and emergency lighting modules. Yonos can also be customized for specific projects, for example with special colors. With nine high-quality optics in three widths, Yonos also meets all lighting requirements in the office – from classic computer workstations to linear lighting for corridors and atmospheric accent lighting in lounge areas.

A classic situation, innovative implementation with Yonos: for example, with standard-compliant glare-free luminaire inserts above the workstations and consistent indirect lighting.
However, light is not just about illumination: it creates a spatial atmosphere, impresses with its light quality, which creates valuable brightness conditions in line with daylight in the spirit of human-centric lighting, and should – without question – be as efficient as possible. With Yonos as a smart system, controlled via the in-house LiveLink lighting management system, including all associated services for analysing and monitoring the luminaires, all these factors come together, because lighting management and sensor technology can be integrated into the lighting solution right from the start, at any time, or even retrospectively. The system can be controlled either via a wired system using DALI or, in the case of a renovation, it can also be equipped with wireless components for lighting management. With the wireless solution, control is via Casambi. The smart features act as a carefree package, because here, among other things, central operating parameters such as energy consumption or operating time of each light point are continuously recorded and evaluated, in short, data is provided that gives essential insights into the efficiency and functionality of the lighting and forms the basis for innovative services such as predictive maintenance.

While the base element is permanently mounted to the ceiling or suspended from it, structures can be reconfigured and modules repositioned or replaced thanks to connection points every 325 or 650 mm.
With sustainability in mind, Yonos was designed with longevity and adaptability in mind. On the one hand, the elements produced in the European Union using efficient delivery routes are based on high-quality, sustainable materials such as at least 70 percent recycled aluminium, certified according to ISO 14025. On the other hand, they impress with high energy efficiency of up to 190 lumens per watt. Individual components such as drivers or optics can be replaced directly on site. With automated lighting control and high light quality with a colour rendering index (CRI) of 90, Yonos is therefore also an important component for sustainable building certification, such as BREEAM or DGNB.

A system instead of piecemeal solutions: Yonos is a modular, connective and adaptive lighting solution with a wide range of luminaire and function modules.
A particular advantage of Yonos is its high degree of adaptability, which is a great benefit for any planning project. This allows for a flexible response, for example, if the use of space changes retrospectively. The lighting system makes it possible to adapt the lighting situation easily, quickly and without structural measures, as the lighting modules can be easily replaced. Only the base element remains on the ceiling, ready for new tasks. In this way, the adaptive, growing system offers architects and designers maximum freedom in planning and design. In addition, all components are available for ten years in accordance with TRILUX's availability guarantee and can therefore be easily restocked.

The elements can also be customised in terms of colour.
Yonos from TRILUX offers an attractive, sustainable complete package for holistic office lighting and has already been awarded the German Innovation Award 2024 and the Iconic Award 2024 in the Interior Products category as ‘best of best’, the German Design Award 2025 and the iF Design Award 2025.

Yonos enables a mix of standard and high-contrast lighting within a single system: luminaires with UGR < 19 surface optics above desks, spotlights on walls, and decorative pendant luminaires in meeting areas.
