Técnica Livraria is a meeting point for professionals, as it specialises in architecture and all its members (front and back office) are architects.
It has more than 4,000 books, which are not chosen from a catalogue, but from the experience of its owner, a collector for more than 25 years. As such, he is a member of international groups.
Técnica bookshop owns House Details, which produces the world's most comprehensive publications on houses. House Details products are unique and aimed at demanding professionals and students. They have no commercial purpose and take thousands of hours to produce, with the utmost, rigorous and exhaustive effort, based on digital Cad files of complete projects. Several of the published architects are Pritzker Prize winners.
House Details is authorised to produce technical drawings (some of its professionals have more than 25 years' design experience), for which it is extremely grateful.
