Zbigniew Reszka - Arch Deco

Zbigniew Reszka will share his experiences and discuss the projects carried out by the Arch Deco studio, focusing on innovative architectural solutions. He will present how his team integrates modern technologies with respect for the local context in projects such as the Gdynia Film Centre and the TRYTON office building. He will also share the challenges and successes encountered during the execution of major investments in Poland.
Zbigniew Reszka
Architect and graduate of the Faculty of Architecture at Gdańsk University of Technology. In 1985, he founded the Architectural Creativity Cooperative in Gdańsk, which brought together small, independent studios. Four years later, he established the Arch Deco office with Michał Baryżewski. It was one of the first professional studios in the Tricity area. Today, Arch-Deco employs 40 architects and has a diverse portfolio of office, residential, and industrial projects, including the headquarters of the Lotos Group in Gdańsk, the STOS IT Center at the Gdańsk University of Technology campus, apartment buildings in Sopot and Jurata, the Gdynia Film Centre, the Invasive and Non-invasive Medicine Centre at the University Clinical Centre in Gdańsk, apartment buildings in Jurata, the Oliva Koncept residential area in Gdańsk, and New Orłowo in Gdynia, as well as the Central Park in Gdynia. Zbigniew Reszka and Michał Baryżewski were awarded the Honorary SARP Prize in 2013.
