Simply (not) building

We humbly engage with the big questions of our time! To save the world, or rather ourselves, we see exactly three possibilities: Ban building! Ban architecture! Ban beauty! We become specific in the nonspecific, in architectural fragments and rather small-scale structures. We focus on the incidental, on non-places, on the disreputable corners of our cities and villages, on suburban areas, and on the lowlands of human civilization – and in doing so, we casually discover the beauty of the banal.
