Lino Materiale is a linoleum floor based on the original recipe from 1898. However, the collection combines large visible cork granules with other bio-based ingredients such as linseed oil, pine resin and wood flour. This creates a novel, grainy surface texture that gives this linoleum an interesting effect. Lino Materiale is available in 10 harmonious earth and pastel colours that can be easily combined with each other. The flooring is also suitable for high-traffic commercial areas. Lino Materiale is also available in R10 and as an acoustic version. Lino Materiale is a bio-based, plasticiser-free flooring solution without PVC, which is manufactured sustainably according to Cradle-to-Cradle principles, supports various green building certifications and can be completely recycled after use. The flooring has a negative carbon footprint of -1.70 kg CO₂e/m² (A1-A3) and, with a recycling scenario, even -1.92 kg CO₂e/m² (A-D). It is the world's first linoleum with a negative carbon footprint.
