OPAL-SYSTEMS

OPAL-Systems - wooden floor heating, thin, light and REACTIVE. OPAL-Systems is a “reactive” floor heating emitter made of wood. It combines the known advantages of underfloor heating while reducing its disadvantages. OPAL-Systems is a dry system that works with low temperature water and can be installed on floor as well as walls. OPAL-Systems specificity is the direct contact between pipes, diffusers and floor covering (tiles, parquet, cast coating as epoxy or decorative concrete, etc.). By this constitution, OPAL-Systems has low thermal inertia and can therefore quickly adapt to variable and intermittent needs (heating and cooling). Thanks to this possibility of intermittent operation, the OPAL-Systems allows energy savings of 15% to 35% compared to continuous use, while improving thermal comfort. Light (13 kg / m²) and compact (21 mm thick), OPAL-Systems can be integrated into all types of premises (living room, kitchen, bedroom, office, mezzanine, veranda, large room, etc.), new construction as well as renovation. Operating with water at low temperature, it allows high yields for all kinds of heat producing machines. In twelve years, OPAL-Systems has successfully been installed in more than 1000 projects in the Benelux, France and Switzerland totaling more than 100,000 m² in the residential and tertiary buildings, new construction and renovation. It includes multi-purpose and sports halls where it can even be placed directly ABOVE an elastic complex suitable for sports uses (anti-shock).
