KRION® K·LIFE 1100 RECYCLED CONTENT

We are introducing Recycled Content Krion® K-Life 1100 solid surface, with a minimum content of 5% recycled material from post-consumer waste. Through this action we plan to use more than 350,000 kilos of recycled raw material this year. This step has been taken in a rational way, incorporating recycled content in the manufacture without compromising the physical and aesthetic performance that this material has always had. The sustainable improvement and the maintenance of characteristics such as impact resistance, durability, easy maintenance, fire stability, food contact, almost no porosity, high asepsis and low VOC's production, make Recycled Content Krion® K-Life 1100 one of the most complete materials. It offers infinite possibilities of creation thanks to its malleability, development of continuous surfaces with imperceptible joints, purity, backlighting and great capacity to adapt to spaces. Different certifications have been obtained, such as compliance with the Regulation on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals REACH, which regulates the production and use of chemical substances, and their potential impacts on both human health and the ecosystem. SGS certifies that RC Krion® K-Life 1100 is free of chemicals harmful to health (SVHC) and is also compliant with its Annex XVII on restriction of the use of chemicals. Environmental certifications such as Greenguard Gold or A+ classification according to ISO 16000-6, which verify the low emissions of the product. Suitable for food contact according to Regulation (EU) N°10/2011, free of silica and bisphenol, and certified by SCS Global Service which endorses the recycled content of RC Krion® K-Life 1100.
