Some of the issues discovered in the doctoral thesis, which was developed as an atlas, with the intention that it could be used as a manual, so that it could be a design tool available to students and architects, will be shown.the call of natural spectacles leads to imagine, dream, wander and question, causing the designer to encounter limits of various kinds, and to seek tricks, techniques, findings, luminous ideas, innovations. This is what happens when one tries to incorporate vegetation as a design tool. Multiple questions arise, other disciplines are being touched or incorporated and the relevant aspects are unknown. The questions that arise are some of the following: What knowledge is essential to be able to incorporate vegetation, can vegetation be incorporated as another design tool, how should we approach other disciplines? The most relevant question is when the encounter between the world of vegetation and the built world takes place. The intersection between both worlds implies a delicate approach and is prone to deterioration, since it can endanger the survival of the flora or the support that sustains it. The contact between the two is inherently conflictive because vegetation is a living, growing element, while the building is static. The tree can die if it does not have the minimum natural conditions. In contrast, ruins are the consequence of the depredation of climate and vegetation. In principle, flora and buildings are mortal enemies.
