SUPATRAY ZeroFlex is an innovative modular grid substructure for raised outdoor flooring installed over plastic pedestal systems. It was developed to overcome the structural limitations of conventional pedestal and grid solutions. Manufactured from high-performance polypropylene and measuring 60 × 60 cm, each grid is positioned on pedestals and connected through a proprietary locking disc system to create a rigid, continuous platform. Unlike traditional systems where tiles are supported only at discrete points, the interconnected grid distributes loads evenly across the entire surface, significantly reducing flex while improving stability and safety. The ZeroFlex grid achieves a central breaking load of 780 kg, providing one of the highest structural resistance levels available in modular grid systems for raised flooring. This ensures exceptional durability and reliability even under demanding use conditions. Under a 135 kg central load, the system shows only 3 mm of deflection, delivering significantly greater rigidity than conventional grid solutions on the market. SUPATRAY ZeroFlex is the only grid in its category designed in a 60 × 60 cm module that allows multiformat and running-bond tile layouts without the need for additional central pedestals. This unique feature reduces the number of components compared with competing systems, simplifying installation and lowering project costs. The grid enables the seamless integration of artificial turf within tiled surfaces without additional structural supports, a capability rarely achievable with traditional raised flooring grids. Thanks to its high load resistance and extremely low deflection, ZeroFlex provides a solid and stable walking surface superior to typical raised flooring systems, eliminating the “spring effect” often experienced with more flexible grid solutions.
