    Approvato per

    A@W Paris 2025
Materica, through the metallization technique, redefines aesthetic possibilities in design and architecture, offering innovative solutions for surfaces of various kinds. This technology allows natural and compostable materials, such as jute, polyurethane, and MDF, to be coated with pure metal wires, transforming them into surfaces with a unique and contemporary character. The versatility of the process enables the application of metal to creations of any shape and size, enhancing their details and giving them a completely new identity. Materica’s innovation also stands out for the ability to further customize surfaces with additional treatments, such as oxidation, polishing, and burnishing, which amplify textures and reflections, bringing depth and vitality to every creation. The uniqueness of this innovation stems from its ability to give new light to material shapes of any size, including compostable materials such as jute, polyurethane, and MDF. Thanks to Materica's metallization, these materials are transformed into metallic-looking surfaces, maintaining their sustainability but gaining a new aesthetic depth. Based on specific requests, surfaces can also undergo subsequent natural treatments, such as oxidation, polishing, and burnishing, which further enhance their textures and reflections.
