GOVADECK DUAL

Sistemi per terrazzi

    A@W Brussels 2024
Govadeck Dual is the updated version of the Govadeck decking system that has been proving its worth in renovation and new construction since 2004. The supporting structure consists of recycled, low-carbon aluminum. The decking boards are produced from 100% recycled plastic. The boards form a semi-closed structure thanks to the tongue-and-groove system. The fastening of the boards to the supporting structure is not visible. There are 2 types of boards (2 widths) that are alternatively slid into each other. The boards are solid and the material (Govaplast) has been used since 1995 in various sectors where durability and strength are important factors. The main advantages of the solid plastic boards are that they are low-maintenance, splinter-free, anti-slip and stain-free. Govadeck boards consist of a mix of HDPE + LDPE + PP waste, including our plastic from the PMD bag. So waste becomes raw material. Moreover we can recycle the finished product 1/1 and reuse it as raw material. Reusing production residues and saw waste in the production process completes the circle. The longevity of the material is also an ecological advantage. Realisations from 30 years ago are still serving.
