ARCHITECT@WORK Luxembourg 2026: A strong edition rooted in quality and exchange
ARCHITECT@WORK Luxembourg has successfully concluded. For two days, Luxexpo The Box served as a meeting place for architects and building professionals from across Luxembourg, with a clear emphasis on quality, innovation and meaningful exchange.
The opening day gained extra momentum through the Paperjam Business Club networking event on Next Generation Architecture, where ideas, visions and local expertise came together.
On the second day, renowned speakers offered fresh perspectives on contemporary and future architecture. We were also proud to host the inaugural First Luxembourg Prize for Architectural Criticism, organised by the OAI.
This edition once again demonstrated the strength of Luxembourg’s architectural community. Thanks to all exhibitors, partners, speakers and visitors, we already look ahead to the next edition with confidence.
2026 THEME: Thoughtful Tomorrow
As a theme, "Thoughtful Tomorrow" encourages reflection on how many proposed innovations - along with social, cultural, and ecological considerations - can help create a future where architecture is smarter, more resilient, and more responsive. It’s about thoughtfully integrating technology and deeply understanding the needs of our planet, creating a future where the built environment truly improves lives. Thoughtful construction explores the future of architecture in numerous ways. It recognizes a wide range of emerging trends and advanced developments that are transforming the industry. This includes the use of AI in architecture, flexible design, the implementation of new technologies and robotics in construction, smart materials, adaptive reuse (or not), and the relationship between people and cities, among other aspects.
