WONDER Creativity Festival 2025: FRAMEWORK showcases the future of Kortrijk architecture
From October 16 to November 2, 2025, the city center of Kortrijk (Belgium) will once again host the WONDER Creativity Festival, an initiative by Designregio Kortrijk, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. With more than 50 exhibitions and installations across 34 unique locations, WONDER 2025 promises an inspiring journey full of creative energy, imagination, and sustainable ideas.
A true highlight of the festival is the FRAMEWORK exhibition, which was previously showcased at ARCHITECT@WORK Kortrijk 2025. FRAMEWORK brings together the next generation of Kortrijk architects: five forward-thinking studios – Het Kabinet Architecten, Cabaan, CDG Studio, Buro Loco, and Jan Lefevere – present their vision of the future through striking models and conceptual installations. Their work inspires with smart solutions in reuse, spatial transformation, and material innovation.
FRAMEWORK is more than an exhibition: it is a manifesto of how architecture can contribute to a circular economy and human-centered living environments. Designregio Kortrijk collaborates closely with companies and designers, focusing on community building and visibility of its creative network through residencies, networking events, and the annual WONDER festival.
In addition to FRAMEWORK, WONDER 2025 offers a rich program of design, art, and innovation, featuring among others:

• Hack The Material: an experimental pavilion exploring plastics and architecture.
• Echoes of the Earth: bio-based and regenerative design at Koramic House.
• Design the City of Tomorrow: climate-adaptive urban visions by Howest students.
• Architecture Walk (Oct 18) and Archipel Lecture (Oct 23) for deeper insight and dialogue.
WONDER is free to visit from Thursday to Sunday, between October 16 and November 2, 2025.
