Production Hall Sustainably Renovated

The renovation of the oldest SAB-profiel production hall, dating back to the early 1970s, was recently completed. This production hall, featuring various SAB products, is located in the Over Oudland industrial area in IJsselstein, the Netherlands, near the A2 and N210 highways and adjacent to ‘The Largest Christmas Tree.’ The building was due for an upgrade, which also contributes to the company’s goal of achieving CO2 neutrality by 2030.

A Showpiece

For the exterior façade, the sustainable Colorcoat® SDP 50 was selected in the new golden metallic TSN Dubai Desert. When sunlight reflects off this façade, it creates a stunning shimmering effect, further accentuated by the linear patterns of the SAB-Pyramid variants. The application of these products has transformed the building into a true showpiece for manufacturer SAB-profiel.

New Colorcoat® SDP 50 Coating Colors

Colorcoat® SDP 50 is a sustainable coating with a subtle texture that excels not only functionally but also aesthetically. The coating combines enhanced scratch and wear resistance with excellent RC5+ corrosion resistance and outstanding Ruv4 color and gloss retention for outdoor use. In addition to the popular metallic colors TSN Paris 9006 and TSN Sydney 9007, there is a selection of 15 solid colors. Recently, several new metallic shades have been introduced, including TSN Barcelona Blue, TSN Dubai Desert, TSN Florence Copper, TSN New York Anthracite, and TSN Vík Volcano.

Superior Façade Insulation

By choosing the SAB-Carrier D 110.1000 TL-FR system for two of the façades—mounted on perforated inner liners with glass wool—optimal insulation was achieved. For the visible façade facing the street, a layered system was implemented, consisting of SAB B140/600 inner liners, 200 mm glass wool, and SAB-Pyramid 37/460 and 37/510 profiles on the exterior.
