Three projects, three scales, one shared ambition: transformation means working with, doing better, and creating meaning.
Through the renovation of the Muséum d’Histoire Naturelle de Bourges, designed with a regenerative approach in the era of the Symbiocene; the redevelopment of Colline d’Élancourt, a former waste landfill transformed into a public park and Olympic venue; and the Fours à Chaux project in Angers, which they are leading together, Johanne Guichard Floc’h and Sylvanie Grée bring their perspectives together to rethink the way we design projects by combining mitigation and adaptation.
From architecture to landscape design, they are evolving design practices towards a holistic and systemic approach, where transformation becomes a way to care for both living systems and territories.
Working with what already exists, preserving soils and landscapes, reimagining uses, and above all building partnerships with the living world are the common threads that run through their work.
