While many housing projects involve renovations, architects are also confronted with new construction challenges, and the classic issues of saving and optimizing space. Faced with environmental challenges, practices are being called into question. What choice of materials? What are the possibilities for reuse? And what kind of spaces should we be imagining in our daily lives, which are affected by the recomposition of households and the hybridization of private and professional spheres?
