Edition 2024 - Seminar Rome - Science Forest.jpg

Antonio Atripaldi - ADAT Studio, Andrea Debilio - ADAT Studio, Giorgio Manzi - Professore ordinario di Antropologia alla Sapienza Università di Roma, Presidente della Commissione Musei dell'Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei

Antonio Atripaldi and Andrea Debilio, partners and founders of ADAT Studio, present “Science Forest,” the winning project of the international competition for the Museum of Science in Rome on Via Guido Reni: an open building that rethinks the museum experience by creating a public and shared space in which the interactive aspect and a new relationship between history, man and nature will be central.

ADAT's project aims to propose a new vision in the relationship between knowledge, nature and history, presenting a building in which these three components are in constant dialogue and confrontation. The museum becomes a daily meeting place for citizens and researchers, a space designed for a new open community, in which traditional dichotomies such as public and private, natural and artificial, past and future are overcome: the capsules, a place of new knowledge for citizens, will be supported by a renovated historic building and a public natural park.
