In a scenario of climate emergency and having generally assumed that architecture should have zero energy consumption, there is a need to address the other impacts of a built environment. Carbon emissions, the use of natural resources or the effect on people's health, among other impacts generated throughout the life cycle of a project, are issues that are already regulated in some European countries and that we must begin to consider in order to construct buildings in harmony with the planet and with people.
