Speech by Hervé Potin, associate architect, Guinée*Potin Architectes
Guinée*Potin Architectes' approach is based on the development of an architecture of matter, capable of linking architecture to its context. This approach is extremely closely linked to the issue of landscapes, because the architectural skin is the link between the architecture and its surrounding territory.
‘Indeed, it's not just as living beings that we need a certain environmental quality (water, air), it's also as social beings, because the social bond breaks down when the environment no longer makes sense’. Augustin Berque, in problématique du monde ambiant, 1993.
Moderated by Sipane Hoh, journalist, editor NL Architect@Work France.
