Lightweight Construction with Concrete for the Building Transition

Concrete plays a central role in the construction industry and its sustainable transformation.
Using research prototypes developed and produced at the Institute for Lightweight Structures and Conceptual Design (ILEK) at the University of Stuttgart, the lecture demonstrates how the ecological footprint of concrete structures can be minimized through the integration of digital design methods, circular construction processes, and targeted carbon capture.
