The house, an eternal artefact

Michel Péthuaud Léthang 2.JPG

Michel Pétuaud-Létang, architecte, membre de l’Académie d’Architecture et fondateur,
4A Architectes

In 1964, I built the first Maison Boulon with its future occupant. I continued with this approach to enable anyone to build their own house using a simple principle of assembling parts made exclusively from wood for the structure, roof, floor and walls. With natural insulation, short supply chains and short construction times, these houses are self-sufficient in water, energy and waste disposal, built on stilts, ensuring a healthy and happy future for their occupants.
