Klenova bouda: The new life of a mountain base

ATP25_Seminar_RCNKSK

Jan Říčný and Filip Kosek, RCNKSK
Filip Chmel, Liga lesní Moudrosti

A mountain hut for Czech woodcrafters and other youth organizations will be built in the heart of the Ore Mountains. The two gabled roofs refer to traditional mountain chalets, while the expression of the facade mirrors the interior content. The glazed lounge and dining area opens the house to the outdoors, while the accommodation area made of hempcrete has an earthy and enclosed feel. Architects from the RCNKSK studio and representatives of the Forest Wisdom League will talk together about the project, which combines ecology, contemporary architecture and the relationship between people and nature.
